The Lord sends His angels when we don't have the strength to go on.
Have you ever had a hard week that just leaves you tired and discouraged? That has been my week (maybe even month or year). I keep telling myself it has got to get better. No doubt we’ve been blessed and somehow we just keep getting by.
I woke up early this morning and had some time to read. I picked up To the Rescue
, a biography about President Monson, the Prophet of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (often referred to as Mormons). He quotes a promise made by Jesus Christ: “I will go before your face. I will be on your right hand and on your left, and my spirit shall be in your hearts, and mine angels round about you, to bear you up”
That is how I have been making it and this is how I will continue to move forward. Not alone, but with the help of my loving Father in Heaven, the Savior, and his angels. And when I say angels I am also including good neighbors and friends who help me keep going as well.
