If God already knows the future, if he knows who is going to succeed and who is going to fail – who the sinners and the saints will be, than why put us through this crazy life? Why not just assign us to heaven or hell right now? The dean of the best dental college [...]

I have found in my life that media (movies, books, music, etc.) has a very powerful effect on me. I think everyone is affected by it to some extent, but it seems to have a profound influence on me. That is partially why I’ve been drawn to media my whole life. When someone mentions a [...]

How to Alter Time You have most likely seen an old black and white film where the speed was slightly off and the people looked funny because they moved unusually fast. This occurs because the old cameras had to be hand cranked while they were filming, and if the camera operator didn’t crank it at [...]

I just dropped off my oldest son, Joshua, at his first day of kindergarten. I’m still trying to figure out how I feel. I’m not like the women who have a hard time holding the tears back until their child is out of sight (no tears, yet). I also haven’t been counting down to the [...]

Has anyone tried My Data Team Global for Data Entry jobs? There are so many scams out there for work at home type jobs. It seems almost impossible to find the real thing anymore. This one looks good to me from the surface. They do charge a one time fee “for training materials” which they [...]

Ted Kennedy passed away last night. NPR was full of praise for the former senator and spent a good deal of time talking about all of the things he was able to accomplish in his life. They played a nice clip of President Obama honoring him. I then switched over to a more conservative station [...]

I cut up all of our credit cards today! I’m overcome with fear as well as great excitement. I’ve taken a new path and there is no way back. There are no credit cards to fall back on. I’ve got to stick to the budget and pray nothing and I mean nothing goes wrong. We’ve [...]

I read a book! “Many years ago in the African savannah, something extraordinary happened. An ant no larger than a drop of rain, found the strength, power and determination he needed to move a gigantic elephant.” I highly recommend this little book (130 pages) by Vince Poscente called “The Ant & The Elephant”. In those [...]

Women like to give men a hard time for not remembering anniversaries, birthdays, etc. My personal feeling is who cares if you miss the exact date – aren’t you 30 for a whole year? And isn’t it your fifth year of marriage the whole fifth year? And why don’t women tell you that the 12th [...]

Part of the revelation I had that night at the haunted house was a new lens or way of looking at the haunt I was working in. As I said before I was conflicted over the seemingly opposite directions I was attempting to go in at the same time – creating fear and darkness and also creating light & truth.
